Burlington Country Dancers (BCD) is the group that supports English Country Dancing in the Burlington, VT area.
Our annual English country dance weekend, “Across the Lake”, is June 11 & 12, 2027 with Joanna Reiner Wilkinson calling to music by Bare Necessities. From September through May, we dance at the Richmond Free Library, 201 Bridge St., Richmond, VT (between Burlington and Montpelier, it’s Exit 11 off I-89) on first and third Fridays (but not always!) We suggest looking at our online calendar for the most up-to-date info: http://burlingtoncountrydancers.org/dances/ Basics/review session at 6:30pm; dancing to live music 7pm to 9pm. Currently (as of September 2024), we highly recommend that you are fully vaccinated and boosted for COVID-19; masks are optional.
This summer (2026), we’ll have monthly dances at the Richmond Free Library in Richmond, VT on these Sunday afternoons, to recordings: June 28 (led by Martha Kent), July 12 (led by Barrett Grimm, and August 9 (led by Val Medve). See “Our Flyers” below for details.
