4-WEEK DANCE SERIES IN 2023
Beginner-friendly English country dances are scheduled for these four Mondays, 7pm to 9pm: Feb. 27, March 6, 13, 20. $10-$15 at the door. Location: MSAC (Montpelier Senior Activity Center), 58 Barre Street, Montpelier, VT. Live music led by Aaron Marcus. Calling by Val Medve. Proof of vaccination (with at least one booster) plus masks are required.

POP-UP DANCES
Our last “POP-UP” English country dance at the Capital City Grange in Montpelier was Sunday, October 30, 2022, 4pm to 6:30pm. There was an Intro/Refresher session at 3:30pm for folks new/new-ish to English country dance. Live music was by Joanne Garton (violin) and Aaron Marcus (piano), with calling by Val Medve and Barrett Grimm. Cost was $10-$15 sliding scale. Pre-registration was required (details: val.medve@gmail.com). We may schedule more “pop-up” dances at the Grange in 2023.

COVID SAFETY REQUIREMENTS FOR MONTPELIER ENGLISH COUNTRY DANCE EVENTS
Masks are required (N95, KN95, and KF94 masks highly recommended). Pre-registration or at-door proof of vaccination — your vaccine card must show that you have had 1 J&J shot or 2 Pfizer shots or 2 Moderna shots PLUS at least one booster shot. When you pre-register for your first dance, there is no need to do so again for the rest of the year. To pre-register, email a photo of your vaccination card to val.medve@gmail.com You’ll be added to the registration list and the photo will then be deleted.
